Timeline Adjustment: Update from Erik Cole

In August, Metro's Chief Resilience Officer Erik Cole, who served as the Continuum of Care Governance Board Chair until August, wrote a letter to all CoC members outlining the goal to adjust a previously discussed timeline to address our community's governance leadership on homelessness.

The letter outlines the goal to work on governance and management issues and suggests a preliminary timeline with decisions being made by end of the year/new year.

The MHC/CoC Governance Workgroup has been clear in all its meetings that they are examining different governance models and will make a recommendation for the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission and the CoC full membership to vet and discuss. The decision lies with those two bodies.
