Governance Recommendation
The MHC/CoC Governance Workgroup met on Oct. 24, 2017, to review their recommendation of a governance structure around homelessness in Nashville moving forward. The workgroup intends to present the recommendation to the Continuum of Care governance board and full membership and the Metropolitan Homelessness Commission in November.
The meetings are as follows:
- Metropolitan Homelessness Commission, Nov. 3, 9:30 am in the Howard Office Building, 700 2nd Avenue South.
- CoC Governance Board meeting, Nov. 8, at 9 am, at MDHA, 701 South Sixth Street.
- CoC full membership, Nov. 16, at 10 am, at the Nashville Rescue Mission's Men's campus, 639 Lafayette Street.
The MHC/CoC Governance Workgroup intentionally developed a presentation allowing for a lot of community input and discussion prior to any decisions being made.
